Here’s a review of this album by Archivist’s Ken Scott: “Ten more songs about El Señor with that same wonderfully cheesy blend of psych-drenched guitars and spunky “96 Tears” organ (obviously these guys were gleefully behind the times). Opens with “El Remedio de Dios” (“God’s Remedy”) to the tune of “Blowin’ in the Wind.” Wah-wah and tremolo are well represented, as on “El Sacrificio” (which appears to be patterned after Lamb’s “The Sacrifice Lamb”). Also a bouncy instrumental cover of “Jesus is Coming Soon” (Jesus Pronto Viene”), complete with a Shocking Blue/“Venus”-like strum. “Juventud” (“Youth”) gets a good catchy minor-key groove going. Some nice fuzz soloing on “Salmo 51” (“Psalm 51”), shifting into pure fuzzed-out Nuggets 60s garage-band sounds on the closing “Gracias Cristo” (“Thank You Christ”).
