Description: Franklin Mint Precision Models 1998 Corvette Pace Car Die Cast 1:24 #1447 of 9800 AND Road Champs1:43 scale98 Corvette Pace CarDie Cast Model Released in 2001, this model is a 1:24 scale version of the 1998 Corvette Pace Car that represented the 80th running of the Indianapolis 500. It is incredibly detailed and precise, a near-perfect match to the full-size version. There were 9,800 produced and each car is numbered on a metal plate inside the trunk. Interesting info: Franklin Mint Design Manager, George Bojaciuk, ordered a full-sized set of decals from the Chevrolet Motor Division just to insure that the Pace Car graphics on these models were precise and accurate. This car is in great condition but it is missing the driver's side mirror. I am looking for the mirror and will update the listing if I locate it. The car was displayed in a private collection in a climate-controlled environment. There are no marks, scuffs or scratches that I can see. I have the original graphic outside box but no foam shell. The hang tag and metal number plate are intact. Please see all pictures, as they are part of the description.
