The strike is crisp and the lines are sharp. Artist Biography:Frank Bourdillon was born in India and began his career as a coffee planter. He later left India and trained as an artist at the Slade School of Art in London and in Paris. He first exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1886 and moved to Newlyn in 1887.
