Description: Fr. 32 $1 1880 Legal Tender PCGS Very Choice New 64 This is the more "common" of the two large brown seal blue serial number varieties, if 96 known can be considered common. However, it is much more elusive in the Uncirculated grades than its counterpart, Fr. 33, of which there is a sizable serial number run of high-grade pieces in the census. That is not the case with this signature combination as, quite literally, only a handful of fully CU examples are known. This is one of the finer pieces with bright, white paper and vibrant ink colors.
