Description: This listing includes a Big Tic Fossil watch, model # JR-8499 (JR-8500 is the same build but likely for a different country market) and is nearly vintage at 20 years old. I'm the Original owner, purchased direct from a local Fossil store 20 years ago in 2004. This includes literally everything original to the watch except the batteries. This watch takes 3 batteries to run, all of which I just replaced this week. It functions exactly as it should. 2 batteries run the flame tic seconds bezel display and 1 battery runs the quartz movement hour & minute hands. The metallic silver hands glow in the dark as well. The metal arrows on the dial have a N/S/E/W style like a compass for 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock markers The LCD flaming seconds numbers have a dual function, affected by the diagonal angled button on the top right changing the way the seconds count up from slow burn to scrolling. All original brushed stainless steel links for the original bracelet style band are included, noting 3 links are in like new condition, bagged separately from the watch, as shown. The butterfly style folding clasp is double locking and required the pressing in of 2 lateral release buttons to unfold it from the pin that it clamps to when wearing the watch or storing it in the box. It is a doubly secure clasp, well engineered by Fossil. The Fossil tin, foam lined with instruction and warranty booklets, even the hanging price tag and receipt are included (Note: the receipt will have blacked out section upon selling, blotting out personal information). The watch is of course pre-owned and has some nicks and scratches as shown but is overall clearly well cared for given all included. It is water resistant but this is Not guaranteed and given the age of the watch, would be best kept dry. I ship within 1 business day of your payment received from a non-smoking home.
