Detmold, Compiles dozens of fables attributted to Aesop. The folio edition is a reprint of a 1909 publication. This is a 1st Printing 1998. Any Folio Society offering is as to be expected of High Quality, as with this examples, the fine binding is really good with sharp corners and minimal colour loss, this includes the wonderful drawings on the covers. really very good indeed. The books has been read or at least flicked though as preowned so expect some signs of handling and use. Thank you for looking... CONDITION: When describing condition its important to understand that selling hand made, antique or simply preowned items, all will show signs of use, this will include dirt and dust, manufacturing faults, like makers marks from tools, air bubbles in the case of glass, irregular colour or uneven shape, poor finishing, I wont look to describe those things specifically as its the nature of those pieces. I will always disclose all noticeable physical damage plus anything I think is noteworthy, but I'd ask you the buyer to take your time before buying to assess the item yourself by examining the photos as you may spot something I have missed.
