Fender American Telecaster MAPLE NECK - Vintage Tint Refinished

Description: This neck is of unknown vintage. I purchased it used, do not know its history. It has the characteristics of a Genuine Fender American neck, with the walnut truss rod plug, rolled edges and the remains of Fender QC placard on the heel that a non-Fender neck would not have. It has been refinished with a vintage tint. It does not have a serial number, or any readable heel markings, so those clues are really the only evidence that it is in fact made by Fender USA. Priced accordingly. Decal is very smooth with no raised edges, good metallic silver. Vintage type round string tree included. There are several small cracks in the maple just behind the nut at the truss rod plug; the area is secure and finished over. Profile matches modern C type. 21 frets. Tuner holes fit standard modern type Fender two pin tuners. There are several areas on the side of headstock where the tint is worn from hanging on stand. The frets are in very good condition, no ridges or worn spots. Frets are medium, not jumbo. Straight with no twist, truss rod good. Overall, this is a very nice neck with plenty of potential.
