Description: This is a completed needle work wrapped around cardboard. This is more of a satin Stitch embroidery than a crewel embroidery. Most likely you would probably want to change the cardboard or not. The cardboard seems to have discolored the edges a bit but would be covered by the frame. The needlework symbolizes faith hope and charity. The cross stands for faith, the heart for charity, and the anchor for hope. A charming and colorful wall hanging that represents the virtues of the Christian religion. The work as it stands measures 9 in * 12 in. It is in as found condition.
