There is a tiny pinhole, and few bulges in the cardboard. The original salon frame has minor scratches due to the age. Einar Nielsen Korlind (1884-1975) Born in Grenaa, Denmark in 1884. Attended the technical school of arts from 1904 and educated at the Royal Art Academy from 1907-1910. He worked and traveled in Germany and Italy during early 1920s. Korlind resided every summer on the island of Bornholm, Denmark where he worked with coastal and country landscapes. He received the prestigious Royal Academy award in 1925 and 1928 as well as the Ronge prize in 1925 and 1926. In 1933 he did a portrait of the politician Gerhard Nielsen ( Today on display at the Danish Parliament ) Korlind debuted at young artists show in 1912 and exhibited at the Royal charlottenborg exhibition from 1916-1954 as well as solo shows at Gallery Bo in 1934 and Gallery Chr.
