Description: Early Vintage Rare Miriam Haskell Wire Cuff Bracelet. I bought this at an antique shop in Chocwinity about 15 years ago, not for the name but for the design. I bought a book about Haskell and fell in love with her other vintage designs but realized this one was unique in its simplicity. The color is deeper for most of the beads, and the ones next to the center pair are a bit larger and a little lighter. The stone beads are connected with tiny faceted brass beads, and the bracelet is perfectly designed so that the two rows are perfectly in line with each other. This bracelet inspired me to design a few of my own, but I was never able to get the beads to work so well together as in this one, which was obviously expertly engineered. The signature tag is one used after the war and before the 70s, so I'm suspecting it was made in the 1950s. I haven't seen any other of her designs like this one. I don't know what the stones are, but they are like carnelian, but more solid. Not a jewelry expert, I can't say for sure, expect that the findings are definitely solid brass. Everything on the bracelet is original except the chain connector, which was added and appears to be brass also. I offer a flat discounted shipping fee of $4.50 to any U.S. destination and ship within 24 hours from Eastern, U.S. Thanks for looking
