Description: This heat regulator clock could have been manufactured between 1912 and 1927, which is the year the Minneapolis Heat Regulator Company merged with Honeywell Heating Specialties. Later versions were labeled on the face as Minneapolis- Honeywell, but this is only Minneapolis-77. A very nice quality piece made of all brass. It comes with a key, which is normally missing. the winding works and ticks down like it should. The movement is for a furnace regulator used to control the thermostat on a heating system. It was possible to set back the temp much like the setback thermostat do on today's systems. The clock is 3” in diameter x extends out 3” from the wall when mounted in the thermostat. The back of the clock has adjustments for PM & AM with serial number C 95420. The thermostat appears complete and the parts all move freely. Its a heavy, well built item, weighing at 1-½ pounds. Great for repurposing into decor. See pictures for details.
