Description: Up for sale is this early 1970s Homelite Super E-Z Automatic Chainsaw Model #10556. At that time, this saw was manufactured by Textron Corp. in Charlotte, NC. I am the original owner. It has been used on and off for many years primarily being used to cut firewood or do some light trimming. The original BAR is not included as it was replaced by a Power Care Bar (Y56). The current chain is in good shape. Condition The saw will run, however, it is very hard to start. Sometimes I cannot get it started. My guess is it needs a major tune up (carb cleaning) and that should get it back to starting without issue. Otherwise, the saw can be used for parts on other Super E-Z saws. NOTE: This saw has a MANUAL Chain Oiler. There is one mounting screw that holds the handle to the bottom of the saw. It is missing. SEE PHOTOS. This has been a great saw. As the old saying goes, “they don’t make them like they used to.” This saw was made with all metal parts. In summary, what you see is what you get.
