The extraordinary event would release over ONE MILLION helium balloons into the atmosphere above Disneyland in celebration of the park's 30th Anniversary year.... on Tuesday, December 5, 1985... also known as the 84th Birthday of Walt Disney The event was featured on newscasts from coast to coast... as the spectacle was carried on video for all to see.
