Description: This set of 2, figurine and building, which is sure to warm your heart, belongs to a mega collector of everything Department 56 and past San Diego Dept 56 chapter president. She owns thousands of pieces in 6 different villages and could not possibly display everything. It is dearly time to downsize! Many have never been displayed or only displayed one time. I have hundreds of pieces yet to list! This is the lovely "Mrs. Stover's Bungalow Candies #58917" building. It was released in 2000 and retired in 2003. It has been displayed once, in fact it is still in its original manufacturer's cellophane wrapping and has been stored away for decades. Though it is quite intricate with quaint brick embellishments, sisal trees, and illuminated windows it is in perfect condition, free from all blemishes (even the light cord is untouched), in its original box, and in perfect working order. I did not disturb the original cord. I have an extra light cord I used to show you the illumination. I must tell you though... the sign is missing for the building. It would be easy to glue another sisal tree or poinsettia in its place. I will continue to look for the sign as it was likely put into another building box. I sharply discounted the building to reflect the missing sign. I paired the building with the accessory piece "Russell Stover Delivery Truck #58972" which is brand new and has never been displayed. It is lovely and in mint condition. As you know all of these pieces are hand painted. I took several pictures so you can rest assured these pieces are in wonderful gift giving condition. 2 individual boxed pieces total. Comes from a smoke and pet free environment. What a wonderful opportunity to own a rare collectible that will only increase in value! Purchase with confidence!
