Knopf, these two 8-1/4" x 5-1/2" maroon leather-bound volumes are in very good condition, shiny gold gilt federal seal motif on front cover, gold gilt title, author and eagle on spine. I'm not sure if these came leatherbound from the publisher, or some other organization had them bound in leather. Either way, the books have previous owner's name on the front cover in gold gilt and a gift inscription on the front end-page of Vol 1. No other writing or marks inside, text-block solid, hinges intact, cover corners still sharp. There is some scuffing or small nicks along the side edge of Vol 2.
