Description: This is a nocturne painting of the Magnolia Building with its famous Pegasus sign in Dallas in 1940. It was painted using a black and white reference photo and, according to my research the photo was taken at the corner of Commerce and S. Ervay Street. Obviously, being a black and white photo reference, I had to use artistic license on the colors. 11" x 14" oil painting.
