Description: Offered here is an extremely rare and beautifully prepared, Pentaramicrinus bimagnaramus crinoid from the Big Clifty Formation from Crawford County, Indiana, Mississippian in age. The crinoid measures 1 1/2” long and has 7/16” of stem attached. This is by far the largest and best preserved one I have had. The matrix measures 5” x 2 3/4”. It has been professionally prepared by one of the best in the business. You’ll never have to upgrade this piece. This beautiful piece was found about 30 years ago when the highway department was building I-64 between Cincinnati and Evansville.
