Description: Classic 1950s-60s 18ct Gold Unisex Pinkie Ring w Bright White Diamond S/9½ 8.7g This lovely ring is estimated to date to the mid-20th century retro period of the 1950s through to the 1960s. The band is simply stamped 750 for its 18ct yellow gold purity. The tapering band widens above the finger line to form broad shoulders that morph into a raised ovoid shape across the finger. The top has a star illusion with a round white gold open back bezel. This is rub set with a bright cut round white diamond with a lot of life and sparkle. It is hard to measure but appears to be a minimum of 4.5mm, equivalent to approximately 0.35ct. Please not we are not professional diamond dealers, and the measurements are intended as a guide only. It is a very stylish ring that was originally designed as a man’s pinkie ring, today it equally suit as a lady’s dress ring. The ring is in very good vintage condition, no damage or faults to report, just light wear, and an aged patina. The photos form part of the description. Measures: top measures across base of the shoulders 18.5mm x W8.3mm x H5.15mm, 5mm rear band width, S/9½; 8.7g.
