Listing Description Designed exclusively for Anthropologie, Vivier drew inspiration from the life and work of Pablo Picasso and his wife Jacqueline Roque whilst they resided in Cannes, France. Bold and colourful, this set is perfect for dessert, salad, a sandwich or really anything. A ground colour of blush pink sets the stage for a pair of lucious scarlet lips on both the mug and plate. The low profile mug is accented with a rich cobalt blue handle and a band at the foot. The plate is accented with an elegant gilt edge. Created of durable stoneware with handpainted flourishes these pieces are created with an intentional sense of naïveté expressed in their uneven rippled surfaces and wabi sabi approach — the beauty in imperfection exemplified. Pretty as intended, serviceable tableware but with the addition of a plate hanger may also serve as wall art. In preowned condition, no chips, cracks nor repairs. Expect minor wear commensurate with use and storage, a few fine scratches here and there, a bit of loss to the guiding but nothing that detracts from the appeal of these delightful pieces.
