Description: This 1830’s era Edinburgh copper and steel street lamp, known as a ‘Lord Provost’ lamp due to its shape, is complete, with traces of its original green paint. It is, however, in need of restoration ( see ‘photos).The lamp is 110cm. high, 45 cm. wide at the top, and 45cm. deep.It has a tapered, downward shaped top surmounted by a finial, and an open base for venting heat from the lamp.Once restored, it is suitable for mounting.While local pickup is listed, seller will meet buyer half-way.
