Description: An excellent tournament chess set that includes DGT, tan and black, 32 chess pieces boasting a 3.75 inch king (the base diameter is 1.5 inch). The DGT pieces are non electronic and are not recognized by electronic boards. Pieces display exquisite workmanship and have felted bottoms (the pieces total weight is about 28 ounces). The pictures show how DGT pieces compare to commonly sold triple weighted chess pieces. The set doesn’t come with extra queens but 2 additional queens can be added for a small fee. Please notice that the pieces (especially the black pieces) might show superficial minor scratches from rubbing against each other during shipping. The vinyl, black and white, roll-up board is 20 X 20 inches and has algebraic notations. The set comes with an embroidered deluxe archer green bag. Please note that single sets are shipped in a 12.5 X 9.5 envelope. The shipping and vinyl board folding might cause minor crease(s) in the board that improves with use.
