Description: This is an vintage California Originals Scarecrow cookie jar. California Originals closed their doors in 1982. A small splash of paint on the back (from one of the patches in the front) is a factory imperfection. Inside the lid and inside the base are chips which are hidden when the lid is on the jar. Approximately 12.5" high, the jar is nicely painted and very colorful. It depicts a scarecrow guarding the pumpkin patch. The back of the jar is as interesting as the front with two crows sitting on pumpkins behind the scarecrow in humorous defiance. This makes a fun display in the autumn.
