Description: Circa 1910’s, this is an extraordinary antique Western Union celluloid advertising sign in near mint condition. This early celluloid sign spent its life on the countertop of a Western Union telegraph office, though it might have mostly been kept in a drawer frankly because the condition of the celluloid is as beautiful as could be. Unfortunately the cardboard fold out stand on the back is gone, but not a big deal. The front does have a few VERY small tiny paint splatters which can peel off but I will leave that to the new owner. It measures approximately 7x11. Beautiful condition and shine. The early porcelain call/bell box is also in near mint condition with a beautiful shine. It has its original knob which turns, clicks and rings perfect. Very rare and in near mint condition. One of the finest examples you will ever see, I probably should be asking more!
