Description: C. Butler Jones Ceramic Fat Cat Bank. This uniquely designed ceramic coin bank comes from one of the most talented artists in the country. Highly sought after and desirable, the signed, hand painted design is one of a small series that was released by the studio. Rare and difficult to find, we have only ever been able to acquire two in the fine condition in which we located ours. Once these are gone it will be quite a while before any others are offered for sale as there aren’t any more being designed as of this writing. Very fine condition, no cracks, chips or other flaws. The light, black stripes form whimsical patterns on the rotund body of the cat. The googly eyes, stripes and grin are reminiscent of the fictional character, the Cheshire Cat, from children’s literature. This item measures approximately 8” x 8” x 9.5” and weighs about 2 lbs.
