There is a white border all around, 1-inch wide at the left and right edges, and about 5/8-inch on the top and bottom. This photograph appears to be a class photo. Subjects are posed outdoors in front of some trees and some buildings that I have not been able to identify. On the lower right corner, in white script, is written, "McKechnie Photo Co / Dover-Foxcroft -- Maine." Something was written on the lower left corner, also in white, but I have been unable to decipher it. I propose the date as roughly 1922, since I was able to find the photographer, McKechnie, listed in a Maine Annual Register / State Year Book for that year. The style of dress, shoes, glasses, and the girls' hairnets and headbands suggest roughly the same date. Please see the photos for detail.
