One side is a brushed flannel and the other is a smoother twill feel. The fabric has subtle variations in the coloring. Sews beautifully, not scratchy, slight sheen. Washes with minimal shrinkage in cold water and air dry. Straight off the bolt! A skirt, shirt, or a shawl, perhaps a quick scarf with this great fabric. Why wool?
