Description: This is a Brazilian Rain Tree, scientific name is pithecellobium tortum. Tree is 5+ years old. It measures 8" tall from the soil by 13" wide with a great 1" trunk. It is growing very healthy on a 9x7" plastic pot. Great and strong species to grow as bonsai, it produces a cute little white puffy flower (see picture for reference) during the growing season, easy to take care of, very fast grower, will grow better outdoors. See last picture so you can get an idea of how an older/ finished BRT bonsai looks like, you will get the tree that is on the rest of the pictures.
