Description: Blue Ridge Southern Pottery GARDEN LANE Sugar Bowl & Creamer, Floral, Green Trim (1930s) It's been a while since I've found an interesting pattern from Blue Ridge (Southern Potteries). This one is new to me. "Garden Lane" is described as Colonial Shape, Multi-color Flowers, discontinued about 1941. The flowers are particularly nice, with big purple geraniums, a yellow tulip and pink rose on the lid, blue pansies, all accented by the Colonial shape and dark green trim. The sugar bowl is about 6.25 inches wide across the handles, about 2.75 inches high at the rim, and almost 4 inches at the top of the finial handle. The creamer is 5.5 inches from spout tip to the edge of the handle, 2.75 inches high at the rim, and 2.5 inches wide across the foot. Both pieces are in very good condition. The creamer has no flaws (no chips, cracks, or crazing) that I can see or feel. The sugar bowl has a tiny flake on the inner edge of the lid (see photo with red arrow), and a couple of rough spots on the inside rim edge of the bowl (which I think are under glaze and original to manufacture). Neither piece is marked. Please note the price include shipping via USPS Priority (with insurance).
