Description: This is a set of three agatized petrified wood limb specimens which are from the same branch and two of which fit together like puzzle pieces which were all collected from the Green River formation from the ancient now extinct Lake Gosiute in the Eden Valley area, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Wyoming’s Lake Gosiute was a large crocodile-infested water body in a closed basin. These beautiful specimens have each been cut and polished on one end and the largest specimen measures 1.54 inches long by 1.54 inches wide, the two puzzle pieces measure 0.66 inches long by 1.40 inches wide and 0.58 inches long by 1.41 inches wide and when fitted together as one piece they measure 1.22 inches long by 1.40 inches wide.
