This is handmade and hand finished piece of walnut, saved from a tree from Cathedral of Mary our Queen Church in Baltimore, and made to the highest of standards. This wood is one of many I purchase from a company that rescues fallen trees in the Maryland area. It's a good feeling to know that these trees are not going to waste. The dimensions are 36"L x 30"W x 2" Thick What I do & not do: I do not use traditional lacquers or polyurethanes. I use high quality, non-toxic finishes that have superior hardness and durability of traditional lacquers or polyurethanes. You’ll be able to feel the texture of the wood, as opposed to lacquers or polyurethane that sits on top of the wood, and has that plastic film, that wears over time. I also use multiple high tech, ceramic final coatings that will further protect your valuable table for years to come. This finish protects against water and even red wine stains, not to mention it adds additional sheen. The legs are metal and powder-coated and add a nice, finishing touch to any room. The curves inspired by nature add a softer vibe to the industrial styling making them perfect for your home and easy to live with.
