Description: Welcome to Turners' Circle where the wood you see is always the wood you receive. This listing is for a Black and White Ebony 1-1/16" x 1-1/16" x 9-1/4" wood blank. Air-dried with ends wax sealed. This species often contains bug holes. The dark lines/areas of Black and White Ebony are more dense than the light wood making it unstable in environments where temperature and humidity change. Be sure to protect the wood until you are ready to use it. Checks on the blank may be CA filled. This blank has been slowly air-dried and is stored at ~45% relative humidity. Dense species will be susceptible to changes in RH and should be slowly acclimated to your shop dependant on your environment. One way that this can be done is by placing the blank in a brown paper bag and rolling it up. Monitor weight intermittently with a gram scale until fully acclimated (stops changing weight). *SHIPPING* Maximum combined shipping is just $10 if all items are under 12-7/8" in length. Maximum combined shipping is $15 for orders with blanks longer than 12-7/8” , any size bowl blanks, or boards over 12-7/8” in length.
