Description: Antique #8 Belknap Cast Iron Waffle Maker, SquaresANTIQUE NUMBER 8 BELKNAP CAST IRON WAFFLE MAKER This is an antique circa 1920 #8 size Belknap waffle iron. Produced by the Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Company, which was established in 1840, it weighs five pounds with a diameter of 7-5/8". It features a clean interior and exterior and embossed graphics on one side of the flip waffle maker as follows: BELKNAP 8 LOUISVILLE - KENTUCKY The interior features four sections with geometric squares on one side and plus signs on the other. The waffle iron remains in very good condition with no cracks, warping and almost no carbon on the exterior. The base is missing. A classic cast iron waffle maker from a less well known foundry to add to your collection!
