Description: This 1986 German import stereo album from Deutsche Grammophon (419 102-1) features digitally remastered performances of Beethoven's last sonatas:Piano Sonata No. 28 in A major, Op. 101No. 29 in B flat major, Op. 106 ("Hammerklavier")No. 30 in E major, Op. 109No. 31 in A flat major, Op. 110No. 32 in C minor, Op. 111.All are performed by pianist Wilhelm Kempff in recordings from 1964 and 1965. Album notes are in German by Wolfgang Dömling, in English by Joan Chissell, and in French by Wolfgang Dömling (translated by Daniel Henry). The outer sleeve shows some light wear on the corners, plus two clear tape repairs at the top center of both front and back covers. (See Photos 1 & 2) There is a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back.
