Beautiful Vintage Sterling Virgin Mary 1830 Miraculous Medal 925 Chain Necklace

Description: This beautiful and meaningful vintage Sterling Silver Virgin Mary Medal pendant necklace is in very good condition except for some scratches and places of tarnish as you can see in the pictures. Also, the ring that acts as the bailto put the chain through is a bit bent. I took close up pictures of this. As you can see, the back piece can slide to either side. Aside from being marked Sterling there is nothing written on it front or back so I'm not quite sure why it's there. I'm thinking if someone wanted to have something engraved on it like a name or date. On the front you can see the year 1830 at the bottom. I was thinking this was the year the medal was made but From what I have read, this is the year Mary appeared to St. Catherine Laboure. I read a lot about it, it's just way too much information to be putting in an eBay listing. I just looked up The Virgin Mary and 1830. You will find a ton of information online if you're interested and aren't familiar with this. The chain, which isn't super thin but not thick either, is 18" Long. It is stamped 925 & N/C as you can see in the picture. It will come carefully wrapped in a plain white box. Pictures are enlarged to show details and/or flaws if any.
