The brooch measures one & a quarter inches by one & a half inches and is all set in 9ct yellow gold with a rosey patina to the gold. The frame is plain with a tiny rope style & Inset is a lovely shell cameo depicting the three graces in well carved interesting detail. The brooch has a pin and rolling Cclasp working well, & also a bail for attatching a safety chain and has a full set of english hallmarks for Birmingham, 9ct gold & the 1970s . However this really is a beautiful vintage cameo in very good origional complete condition and a really lovely exact wearable example of this pleaseing subject, which would make a really lovely gift.
