One of the most sought-after subsets in the UK Beatles vinyl catalog, 'Export' pressings were manufactured by EMI-UK for exclusive distribution in overseas markets. Export albums were pressed in significantly fewer numbers relative to domestic releases and so are, logically, much harder to find. While some export titles appear to be more common than others, all are held in high esteem by collectors of Beatles vinyl the world over. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC, UK PRESSING; THIS IS NOT A REISSUE OR A COUNTERFEIT PRESSING. This is a Hard to find Copy Parlophone/EMI CPCS 104 Stereo UK Beatles LP !!! (UK LP 1st EXPORT Pressing). Black and Yellow Parlophone label. Both labels Omit the 'Sold in UK.' text, but carry 'Gramophone Co..' rim print. K T tax code between side 1 center hole. Matrix numbers: YEEX 112-A15/YEEX 113-A15 (ST 2451 scratched out on side 2 run out). Stamper codes: 1/G & 1/A CONDITION: Disc Labels: VG Labels are nice and show light faint spindle trails. LP Visual: VG Both sides of this copy lay 100% flat on the turntable when playing, with no traces of dishing or warping. Play: VG++ It plays with some crackle and a few pops but still sounds great, so still a great playing copy. The noise is mostly noticeable between songs. Play tested...see photo. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays well without the needle sticking or jumping. No skips. Please Note: Cover Front is laminated VG+ with some light creasing. No seam splits. Back is Good due to writing and lipstick 💄!! Obviously, a female fan used to own this copy! The flip backs are in good shape. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. on back bottom. Inner-sleeve is VG showing its age. Some browning, etc. Every copy on eBay is around $1000 or more! Granted, they are in better shape overall, mostly.
