Description: PLEASE NOTE: A computer error by eBay deleted most of the scans and photos in my listings. This error affected many thousands of eBay sellers worldwide. In most of my listings, only the first image remains. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This lot consists of sixteen documents & letters of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad operated from 1828 to 1987, with routes in the northeastern and midwest states. The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, also known as the B&O Railroad, was the first railroad in the United States to offer scheduled freight and passenger service. The B&O Railroad may now be best known as one of the four railroad properties in the famous board game MONOPOLY. These documents, letters, and messages are dated from 1897 to 1911. They are in good to very good condition, with some moderate wear. Several of the letters are signed by an agent of the railroad. Several of the documents are four or more pages long. The longest one is 28 pages. There are several letters in the photos that appear to be written on gray paper. They are actually written on translucent paper. Shipping is FREE via USPS First Class Mail. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
