Description: This model features a factory installed dual mode DCC decoder that operates on DCC AND standard DC layouts. It has TWO skew-wound motors, each with a pair of flywheels, 12 wheel drive, constant and directional LED lighting, illuminated number boards, RP-25 wheels, flashing strobe light and E-Z Mate Mark II couplers. This is a NEW open box locomotive. As with any open box engine, new or otherwise, I test and inspect the locomotive. The locomotive was represented to me to be new. My inspection would confirm that there has been no use of this engine other than the test run done by me and the previous owner. If you stood this locomotive next to one that just rolled off the factory floor you would not be able to tell which was which. My test was limited to DC operation as my DCC controller has issues. I have an AS-IS/no return policy. However, if this engine fails to perform on DCC I will accept a return at my expense if I am notified within 3 days of your receipt of the locomotive that the DCC operation of the engine does not work. DC operation was flawless. Please zoom in on the wheels which show wheels lacking any wear. The locomotive is new/super clean and will come in its original box, lacking documentation.
