Description: Up for sale is a pitcher of Le Verre Français (Charles Schneider) with floral decor and orange red/blue color. It is in used condition as there are some minor chips or paint chips and the thin end spout (approx 1cm x 2mm) from the handle appears to have broken off and is missing. Signed (see photos). Late 1920s - Art Nouveau / Art Deco. Dimensions: 31.5cm x 16cm (H x D) The line Le Verre Français made cameo glass that consisted of several layers of etched glass. The motifs of the decor were inspired by nature but were rendered in a more abstract way. Therefore, these glass objects are very different from the style of glasses from the Gallé or Daum factories.
