Description: Interesting real photo postcard. Arrival of messenger in Orozco's camp in Mexico. Orozco (1882-1915) supported Francisco Madero in late 1910 against Porfirio Diaz. On May 10, 1911, he and Pancho Villa seized Ciudad Juarez. Diaz resigned. Shortly afterward, Orozco was named commander of the federal rural police at Chihuahua. Orozco was angry he did not receive a higher, more important post. Eventually, he turned against Madero. Orozco was killed in 1915. This postcard may have Orozco and/or Pancho Villa pictured. I can't tell. The card is postmarked San Bernardino AZ on May 26, 1911, just about the time that all this was happening. The card is postally used with short note. It has very light soiling on front and more soiling/staining on back; corners are lightly bumped or creased. Nice, strong, clear image. Photographer not listed, but it would be interesting to find out who it was. NOTE 1: Postcards, photos and most paper items are shipped USPS Ground Advantage with sturdy packing. That allows me to get you a tracking number. Cost is usually around $4 plus or minus, depending on your distance from Zip Code 44224. I ship using the USPS-eBay calculated discount rate, which saves you some money. If you don't need/want tracking, let me know before paying and I will send a revised invoice. NOTE 2: You may find prices written on the backs of postcards or photographs that you purchase from me. I buy these items, usually in large quantities, from a variety of sources. Some previous dealers or owners may have written those prices on the cards/photos. They have no bearing on the price I ask or the price you pay. NOTE 3: eBay collects sales tax now; I have nothing to do with that. NOTE 4: Shipping costs continue to go up. I try to ship your item(s) as quickly and as inexpensively as possible. For smaller, heavier items, I use USPS priority flat rate boxes. I will try to keep your costs down as much as I can. Please see NOTE 1 above about paper items. NOTE 5: Please check the photograph(s) on the ads; they are an important part of the description. If you have questions, please ask before bidding. I try to call all defects, dents, folds, nips, nicks, chips, skips, stains, tears, scratches, rips, wrinkles, etc. Please ask condition questions before bidding. NOTE 6: Payment MUST BE RECEIVED within three days of end of auction. I gladly combine shipping on most items; if not sure, ask me before you bid. NOTE 7: Paper items such as postcards, pamphlets, trade cards, sheet music, etc. normally are shipped in a rigid holder or with cardboard in a soft bubble envelope or in a cardboard envelope. I pack EVERYTHING carefully. NOTE 7: I will gladly accept a return if I describe an item inaccurately. You must notify me within 14 days of receipt of the item, and the adv description must have been markedly incorrect. I will reimburse the full purchase price and the return postage. I MUST receive the item back in the same condition I sent it out. Thanks from the Filmmaker. Serving customers on eBay since 1999
