Description: Very nice antique walking stick for you. This is from an estate find so most info is speculative. Antique patina, looks like it was stained at one point but just reminisce of stain remain, also some paint stains. There are many small cracks all over but when I bare weight on the cane it doesn’t seem to bend or creek, still seems very structural strong. Brass handle a has a little play when you wiggle it but doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. overall quite fair condition especially considering the age. It is about 34 inches long. these walking sticks were made and used by the American Indians back in the early 1900's...mostly in Missouri.| also found in Canada... A fungus causes the leaf shaped pocks on infected trees...Most are irregular, knobby
