Description: Antique Spring Loaded Chatelaine Brooch Chain Pencil. This swanky turn of the century setup features a brooch with 15 inch retractable spring-loaded chain, as well as a 19 inch additional chain and pencil. The pencil looks to have been polished to within an inch of its life. Much of the gold finish has been worn away. It swivels but has no lead. There is polish residue on the chain as well. The internal chain retracts and comes out with moderate hesitation. It has some rust. I have worked through the movement many times and it is more or less free moving as expected.
