Description: Offered for purchase is a beautiful Pickard Studios "Poppies Conventional" Design Handled Dish (Signed "Wagner" for Albert H. Wagner/c.1905-1910) or Trinket dish.Wilder A. Pickard founded Pickard China in the 1890s to produce fine hand-decorated china for the American market.Pickard artists designed and executed beautiful hand-painted tableware that was sold in the finest department stores and jewelers. His Chicago studios employed hundreds of decorators and artists through the years.The dish is in excellent condition... no chips, cracks or repairs, although there are some surface scratches and wear from age and use. The dish is approximately 6.5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 1 inch tall. The bottom is marked as indicated in the pictures. In buying vintage, you will find minor scratches, scuffs, different colored, patina or other 'evidence' of the items previous use.
