Description: Here is an ANTIQUE MICRO MOSAIC HINGED BOX. It is made of Gilt Brass. There is wear to the gilding. The brass box has an ornate design around it. And, there is some greening in the rope design. See Photos. The box is made in Italy. The box is hinged and opens and closes securely. The top has a Floral Micro Mosaic Design. The mosaic is in good condition. This is a medium box measuring approx. 1 3/4" in diameter and 1 1/8" in height. I have a smaller box on Ebay auctioning separately. This box is an antique dating to the very early 1900's. There are a couple of dents in the side of the metal. See Last TWO Photos. I have not attempted to clean the box to maintain the patina.
