Description: KEEN KUTTER EC SIMMONS is the tang stamp. 1890’s to early 1930’s.Made by Walden Knife Company for EC Simmons.Tang stamped on both blades. Pattern # 0884 on back tang of the large blade.“Senator Penknife”, 3-1/8” closed.Nickel silver pins and bolsters and liners.Mother of pearl handles have great color.The back handle has a couple of tiny stress lines at the center pin (see photos).The handles have no other cracks or damage.Both blades have strong snap, both are tight no wobble.A near mint knife – never sharpened, carried, or cleaned, each blade has the factory finish, factory edge.“Near Mint” only due to the tiny stress lines as described above, but this is a close to mint as you will find a knife this old.KEEN KUTTER STAINLESS etch is clear on the large spear blade.Includes the original KEEN KUTTER knife wrapper as shown.
