Description: This listing is for a late 19th century German grandfather clock by Lorenz Furtwängler & Sohne (LFS). The clock comes in a nicely carved wooden case with a glass door and carved Jacobean Revival style detailing. The upper features lovely metalwork and an eye catching dial. The glass door in the center reveals the clock's brass weights and moving pendulum. The clock has an 8 day time/strike movement, with a deep tone double gong chime. 23.5 x 86.5 x 12 inches This clock is in overall good condition and has been well cared for. Some signs of normal wear and age are present such as signs of minor repair to the wood, a minor repaired indentation on the dial, and some tarnishing on the metalwork. The movement was last serviced in 2023. It ran when and chimed when recently tested. Please note that any mechanical clock that is moved or shipped might require adjustments upon arrival, and thus time accuracy/running cannot be guaranteed.
