Description: Real nice antique General Electric meter converted into a table lamp. I recently had this professionally rewired by a local lamp store to accommodate a touch control three way bulb and internal “nightlight”. I was told by an electrician that this is likely circa 1930s or so. The meter and custom wooden base are in great working shape (original back plate with patent numbers included). The meter does not spin (given its advanced age I was told the internal mechanism was unworkable) but the internal nightlight is a nice added touch. The base measures 13”x8”x13.75” tall. From the base to the top of the light socket is approximately 17” and the Edison style 3 way bulb is included.
