Description: Antique FOLK ART Hand Made Wood ALICE IN WONDERLAND Character Child's Play Set. Wow, what a wonderful set that I’m sure is at least 100 years old. All pieces are handmade out of wood and double sided. All figures are hand painted, and slipped into a slotted wood base. All figures are approximately 6 1/2” to 7 1/2” tall. A total of 16 pieces, including the Red King, the Red Queen, the Red Knight, the Walrus, Queen Alice, the Messenger, the Unicorn, the Carpenter, Humpty Dumpty, Tweedle-Dee, Tweedle-Dum, The White King, the White Queen, the Lion, Two Castles, and the Gardner. All have a super antique age patina. Tweedledum is missing one arm from a wood split and the white queen looks like there was a split in her dress and it was glued back with some residue. A Rare and Wonderful Find!!
