Description: This is an Antique 1880 Campbell Jones & Co Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) Service Platter in the "Rustic" Pattern and the prayer "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread". This Pattern was called the "Rustic" pattern but was also known as the "Garden of Eden" and "Lotus with Serpent" Pattern and was produced around 1880. Campbell Jones & Co. operated in Pittsburg, PA from 1865 - 1886. This Platter is in Very Good Condition. There are no cracks. ***NOTE*** There is an edge that circles the platter near the edge. This edge is rough and has small chips. The edge feels rough as you run your finger along the ridge, but not sharp. I am not sure if these are chips or manufacture flaws. See the last three pictures for close-ups of this. This Platter is 12 3/4" long by 9 1/4" wide, by 1 3/8" tall at the handles. The Platter weighs 2 LBS. Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my knowledge. Some wear is to be expected, unless described as flawless or mint. I cannot know everything about every item I offer, I do inspect each item and list all known flaws or damage. So please take a good look at the photos and ask questions if need be. X
