Description: ITEM: Steiff-type puppy-head child's muff handwarmer. Brown mohair. There is no button or tag, but he is similar to the Steiff hand puppets. Brown glass eyes. He has little paws that hang down from the bottom. Muff is lined in cotton twill fabric; ears are lined in velveteen. About 7" x 9" overall. He has had lots of pets, but he is ready for more. This is a very rare item that would make a fun addition to an antique stuffed animal, doll, or clothing collection. CONDITION: Some wear to the face and ear linings, but mohair is in good shape and face embroidery is all intact. Stitching shows at some seams, but it is all intact. See photos for details.
